Ownership & history:

Château L'Hermitage is a family business since many generations, it was formerly know as Cru de l'Hermitage.

Vineyard & location:

Today the vineyard reaches 17 hectares and the vines are in average about 40 years old. The parcels are situated on various soils (Graves pebbels, sand, argil and limestone) providing different expressions of the terroir and great aromatic complexity.

Harvest, vinification & ageing:

Manual harvest with grape selection.
4 months sur lies ageing.

Tasting:

This elegant wine displays a wide aromatic complexity, supported by a delicate ageing in wooden barrels. This wine developes subtle exotic fruit and citrus flavours enhanced by fine minerality.
